The gearboxes have powerful tapered or inclined roller bearings in the output shaft bearing. These are extremely resilient, meaning that in spite of the radial and axial forces that occur, dynamic movement of even heavy weights is possible.

Optimum technical coordination between the pinion and the gearbox is guaranteed by the inline and right-angle planetary gearboxes which have been specially developed for such rack and pinion applications by Neugart, in combination with pinions which have been manufactured in-house.
